About Moirang & INA Memorial
Moirang is historically momentous as the gateway to Loktak Lake and the revered cradle of the legendary Meitei epic romance, Khamba-Thoibi. It is also the sacred site where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army first hoisted the Indian National Flag on mainland soil in April 1944.
